Respiratory Care programs
Baccalaureate Degree
Respiratory Care is an allied health specialty. Respiratory care practitioners are members of the medical team who specialize in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system. The respiratory therapist with a baccalaureate degree is prepared as an advanced level practitioner and is eligible to sit for the national board examination for entry-level certification, to become registered as an advanced practitioner, and to take specialty examinations in perinatal/pediatrics and pulmonary function.

Credentialing and Licensure
