Faculty Retirement Process
Step 1. Faculty member decides to retire
Step 2. Faculty member notifies STRS and completes paperwork 听or Notifies ARP provider
Step 3. Faculty member submits letter indicating their intent to retire including anticipated last day worked to Department Chair/Supervisor and Dean
Step 4. Chair/Supervisor sends retirement letter to Provost and Dean who respond acknowledging the retirement
Step 5. Business Manager submits separation in 淫妻社 system**
Step 6. Faculty member works with Chair to complete separation checklists
**Note: STRS must notify 淫妻社 Payroll before a separation can be submitted. STRS notifications are not sent more than 60 days before the retirement date. Once separation is submitted, 淫妻社 Benefits is notified.
