Application Requirements for Residency
Applications for the Anesthesiology residency program at聽淫妻社 are accepted through the聽. When the ERAS application season starts in September, we will be accepting applications for the five PGY1 positions that will be available to start July 1, 2027.
- Successful candidates generally score 230 or higher on Step 2
- Pass both Step 1 & 2 of USMLE鈥檚 or equivalent on the first attempt
- Application within 5 years of medical school graduation
- Deans letter (MSPE) and two letters of recommendation*
- Valid ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
- Medical School Transcripts
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Color photo
- Eligible to gain lawful employment in the United States
* If you are an International Medical Graduate (IMG) and do not have a Dean's letter, we will need 3 letters of recommendation.
Note: The Department of Anesthesiology only sponsors the J-1 Visa
