Graduate Certificate in Biostatistics and Epidemiology or Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology
The graduate certificate programÌý·¡±è¾±»å±ð³¾¾±´Ç±ô´Ç²µ²âÌýand 15-credit graduate certificate programÌýBiostatistics and ·¡±è¾±»å±ð³¾¾±´Ç±ô´Ç²µ²âÌýfocus on the development of the qualitative and quantitative knowledge and skills to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data associated with epidemiological investigations, health surveys, injury and illness recognition, and human exposure assessments. Note: The combined certificate inÌýBiostatistics and Epidemiology, compared to theÌý·¡±è¾±»å±ð³¾¾±´Ç±ô´Ç²µ²âÌýcertificate, provides learners with an expanded scope and depth of quantitative knowledge and skills. Graduate Certificate in Public Health and Emergency Response
The graduate certificate programÌýPublic Health and Emergency ResponseÌýfocuses on the characteristics and human health impacts of biological, chemical and radiological agents; personal protective equipment and decontamination; site monitoring instrumentation and methods; epidemiological investigation and surveillance; and, applicable regulatory standards and recommended professional guidelines for incident recognition, response, and control. Completion of this graduate certificate program will: (1) help address the increased need for a basic and advanced level of applied education and training; and, (2) increase the expertise and preparedness of public health and clinical personnel and other responders for incident recognition, response, and control.Ìý12 credit hours.ÌýÌý

Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health
The graduate certificate inÌýOccupational HealthÌýis for students that desire to augment their existing education and training via academic courses. The comprehensive and flexible curriculum provides a basic foundation of information for students with limited or no background in these areas, while simultaneously offering students with professional experience the opportunity to expand their scope of knowledge and skills. The program offers classes during evenings and weekends to accommodate both part-time and full-time students. The curriculum will benefit those with applicable education and experience that intend to take the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) examination.Ìý15 credit hours.Ìý

Apply NOW To The M.P.H. Certificate ProgramÌý

To pursue a certificate through the M.P.H. program, applicants will need to:

  • Hold a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.7.
  • Submit the ÒùÆÞÉç application and upload the required documents
    • Current resume or CV
    • Statement of purpose
    • Official transcripts
    • Three letters of recommendation
    • Language scores (if applicable)
    • Pay the application fee ($45/Domestic, $75/International)

Additional information

  • Programs are 12-15 credit hours.ÌýÌý
  • Because of when classes are offered, it usually takes approximately three semesters to complete. Students typically will not be able to complete the program in one semester but we will work with you to set up your plan of study to create a successful experience.
