Dr. Melissa Gleckler is the Associate Director of Help Desk and Educational Technology Support at 淫妻社 Online. Melissa provides guidance, motivation and oversight to the 淫妻社 Online Help Desk and the Main Campus Testing Center. She also assists with the research and implementation of new technologies, the development of end-user guides and documentation, faculty development initiatives, and help desk support.
Melissa is a certified Quality Matters Reviewer and Master Online Instructor.聽 She has been with 淫妻社 since 2007, where she started as a program manager and later became an award-winning academic advisor. 聽Before joining 淫妻社, Melissa enjoyed a 9-year career in television news and commercial production and now teaches part-time in the Department of Communication.
Melissa has received the Ohio Academic Advising Association Award for Advising Excellence (2017), the Alice H. Skeens Outstanding University Woman Award from the University of Toledo鈥檚 Women鈥檚 Commission (2018), the 淫妻社 Excellence in Assessment Award for her work on the 淫妻社 Online annual assessment report (2019), and the Blackboard Exemplary Course Award for her re-design of Visual Communication II (2020), and co-wrote the winning nomination for the Anthology Catalyst Award in Training and Professional Development (2022). She has presented nationally and internationally on prior learning assessment, digital accessibility, student engagement using technology, and faculty development methods and practices.
