How to find an academic tutor?

TheLearning Enhancement Center(LEC) will provide you generalacademicsupport to build academic skills andtutoring in many subjects. The LECoffers in-person andonline tutoring. TheWriting Centersupports student writers in all disciplines.

Tutoring - Learning Enhancement Center

The Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) provides all undergraduate students with accessible, professional, academic support services to enhance student success and retention. The LEC offers FREE tutoring in math, science, engineering, and statistics, as well as academic coaching and workshops. Learn more about the LEC.

All tutoring services are provided in person during fall and spring semesters, and both in person and online during the summer. Students can access online tutoring services on theLEC website. To schedule online tutoring, students click “Online Tutoring” on the LEC homepage. Supplemental instruction (SI)

SI is a peer-led, informal study group designed to help students succeed in academically demanding courses. Students with questions can contact Supplemental Instruction staff in-person, phone 419.530.2169, or email supplementalinstruction@utoledo.edu. Learn more about SI.

Writing Center

The Writing Center assists all students on a variety of writing projects in any subject and at any point in the writing process. Student-Athlete Support Services

The Student-Athlete Support Services office (SASS) provides a variety of services to assist student-athletes with their academic progress. Services include guidance with course scheduling, targeting (a time management program), study table, making appointments with appropriate university offices, individual/group tutoring, and academic and career counseling. A SASS professional staff member is assigned to coordinate academic support services for each sport program.
