Special Accounts
The Special Accounts area of the Treasurer鈥檚 Office is responsible for but not limited to:
- Collecting current and prior term student account receivables聽
- Repayment Plans
- Insufficient funds 鈥淣SF鈥� items
- Department collections
- Federal Perkins
- Department of Health and Human Services Loans
- University loan programs
Financial Hold Removal After Personal Payments
If you make a personal payment after the semester has ended, such as paying with a debit card, personal check, or bank account, or if you are replacing a previously returned payment, the University will wait 10 calendar days before removing any financial holds from your account.
Financial holds may prevent you from:
- Registering for classes
- Obtaining official transcripts
- Receiving your diploma
The 10-day waiting period allows sufficient time for the payment to clear the banking system and helps ensure the payment is not returned or reversed.
