Student Ambassadors
NSM Student Ambassadors serve as advocates and representatives for the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM) and ÒùÆÞÉç. The primary purpose of this position is to provide prospective students and their families/guests with an informative and enjoyable campus visit. NSM Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, participate in college presentations, answer questions at college events and generally promote both the college and university. NSM Student Ambassadors are required to participate as a peer mentor to new incoming students through the ÒùÆÞÉç NSM Mentor Collective program.

Danielle Adjei
Major: Biology, pre-med
Year: Sophomore
About me: I am a second-year biology major with a pre-medical concentration. Outside classes, I also participate in undergraduate research and student organizations such as the P.E.A.C.E project and Cru. Being a student in NSM has allowed me to explore my interests while developing meaningful connections with faculty and staff.

Alyssa Beach
Major: Biology and Biochemistry, pre-med
Year: Sophomore
About me: I am currently a sophomore majoring in Biology and Biochemistry with a minor in Communications on the Pre-Med track. I am very active on campus as a part of my sorority Kappa Delta and various clubs including Rockethon, Project Sunshine and Tri-Beta Biological Honors Society. Along with my involvement on campus I am also an active member in the Toledo community. I volunteer weekly at St. Anne Bonaventure Hospital in the surgery department.

About me: Hi Everyone! Born and raised in Nigeria, I'm a very bubbly and enthusiastic person, spreading positive energy wherever I go. I love being outside and exploring new cuisines. I also enjoy listening to all kinds of music and I'm always up for shopping or planning fun outings with friends. But most of all, I value spending time with loved ones and creating happy memories. I'm a go-getter and I put my heart into everything I do, whether it's studying for a test or tackling a new hobby.

Sampriti Senapati
Major: Neuroscience, pre-med
Year: Sophomore
About me: I am an aspiring physician dedicated to representing the wonderful aspects of natural science and mathematics at ÒùÆÞÉç. In my time as an ambassador, I am excited to have the opportunity to share my excitement and knowledge with others and to encourage students to become involved in these areas as well. I hope to leave a lasting impact in healthcare and to positively contribute to the lives of the underprivileged. Besides my work as an ambassador, I am also part of the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA), Autism Advocates, MEDLIFE, and many more organizations here at ÒùÆÞÉç. Additionally, I am involved in undergraduate research studying Parkinson’s disease. With every endeavor, whether it's mentoring students, participating in community service projects, or making an effort to alleviate community conflicts, I am driven by a sense of purpose and the belief that collective efforts can truly make a difference. My main goal in life is to give back to the community around us, and I hope to continue that through the NSM Ambassador program.

About me: Hello, I am an incoming sophomore at ÒùÆÞÉç majoring in Neuroscience and I am part of the Honors and BACC2MD program. I am originally from Northville, Mich. On campus I am actively involved in various organizations and leadership roles. I serve as Associate Justice for Student Government, Recruitment Chair for Project Sunshine, a member of the MTM Committee for Kesem, Secretary for Lambda Sigma Sophomore Honors Society, Packing Chair for The Bridge and Director of Sponsorship for Big Event. Additionally, I am currently working with MSS Scribes and conducting research in a chemistry lab. I am excited to meet everyone and look forward to a fantastic year ahead!

About me: I am a dedicated student pursuing a dual major in Data Science and Economics at the ÒùÆÞÉç. Originally from Nepal, I am deeply engaged in using data analytics to address economic challenges. At ÒùÆÞÉç, I actively participate in several extracurricular activities, including the Cybercrime Awareness Campaign and serving as a College Ambassador. I have been recognized for my leadership abilities with the Courageous Leader Scholarship through my involvement with Phi Gamma Delta. Committed to my professional growth, I seek opportunities to apply my skills in real-world settings while contributing to my community.

About me: Hi I am Bhargavi. I am majoring Biology with a neuroscience concentration and planning to become a doctor. I have done some field research back in Indian while working with an NGO in our locality and I am looking forward to getting more experiences and learning more. I am a member in Relay for Life administrative branch.

Jayden Chacko
Major: Biology, pre-med
Year: Sophomore
About me: Hi everyone! I am an incoming sophomore at ÒùÆÞÉç, majoring in Biological Sciences with a pre-medical concentration and a minor in Chemistry. On campus, I’m involved in several organizations such as HOSA, Bridge, Lambda Sigma and my fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon. Ever since coming to campus last year, I have developed interests in cell biology, and now do research in the Chen Lab, where we are exploring the molecular mechanisms that govern cell division. Outside of academia I am a huge basketball fan (Go Knicks!) and also love the outdoors. Being from Portland, Oregon, activities like hiking and camping are personal favorites. On campus, you might see me at the Rec Center, playing basketball with friends, or on the 5th floor of the library locking in on classwork before an exam. I am excited to represent NSM as an ambassador and look forward to seeing and interacting with all of the college’s faculty and students this year!

About me: Hello, I am an incoming sophomore at ÒùÆÞÉç. I am currently a Biology major with a pre-medical concentration and have minors in Chemistry and Psychology. On campus, I’m a part of various organizations such as The Peace Project, HOSA, Lamba Sigma, The Bridge and Project Sunshine. Additionally, I am also in phlebotomist training to expand my healthcare knowledge. Off-campus, you’ll usually find me listening to the newest Taylor Swift song or at Carlson Library studying with my friends. I am originally from California, so I love a good day on the beach, swimming and enjoying the sunset. I am really excited to be an NSM ambassador and looking forward to the opportunity to get to know and meet new people through NSM as well.Ìý
