The 5th Annual Department of Medicine Research Symposium provides an opportunity for faculty, fellows, residents, and students to showcase their research projects for colleagues and the community at large.

This celebration included an address from keynote speaker, Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc.(hon), Professor of Pediatrics and Molecular Virology and Microbiology; Co-Director, Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development; and Dean, National School of Tropical Medicine Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Medical Center, Houston.Ìý
