Dr. Syed Fazal Zaidi

Dr. Syed F. Zaidi, M.D., FAHA, is a Professor of Neurology at ÒùÆÞÉç and a vascular and interventional neurologist specializing in acute stroke care, brain aneurysm treatment, carotid artery angioplasty and stenting, and cerebrovascular malformations. He directs the ÒùÆÞÉç's Interventional Neurology Fellowship Program and serves as Chair of the 2026 Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN) Annual Meeting, the society's 20th-anniversary conference. Dr. Zaidi is also the Founder and Director of a new stroke center at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) in Karachi, Pakistan, developed through the Pakistan Stroke Initiative, which he founded in 2023 to expand access to stroke care in the region.
