Program Description
Recreational Therapy is a CARTE accredited four-year program. In the first two years of the program, students complete prerequisites and introductory Recreational Therapy courses.
During the sophomore year, students apply for admittance into the two-year 鈥減rofessional sequence鈥� of the program. Admission is competitive.听In this portion of the program, you complete upper-level Recreational Therapy classes and gain professional clinical experience through fieldwork and internship. Fieldwork and Internship experiences are available all over the country. 听
You can earn a听bachelor鈥檚 degree in Recreational Therapy with 淫妻社 entirely online, starting your freshman year. Or if you鈥檝e already begun course work for a bachelor鈥檚 degree or have an associate鈥檚 degree in a related field, you also may be able to听complete your degree听in our Recreational Therapy program.
