Welcome to the Radiation Safety Program

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Radiation Safety (ORS) is to develop, implement, and manage the 淫妻社's Radiation Safety Program with the support of the Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) and the X-ray QA Committee聽 to ensure the safety of all staff, students, patients, and visitors while maintaining exposures at the 淫妻社 facilities As Low As Reasonably Achievable, often referred to as ALARA.聽 The purpose of the Radiation Safety Program is to ensure compliance with all applicable 淫妻社 policies and local, state, and federal regulations.聽

The Office of Radiation Safety is your resource for radiation protection information.聽 All questions regarding ionizing radiation should be directed to this office.聽 The staff is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.聽 If you need to contact staff after hours, weekends, or holidays, contact the 淫妻社 operator at 419-383-4000.
