The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation honors program
is offered as part of the Jesup Scott Honors College. NeffÌýCollege of Business and Innovation students have two elite Honors Programs available
to them.
- First, theÌýUniversity Honors Program which has been available at the ÒùÆÞÉç for more than 40 years and has been offered in the College of Business and Innovation since 1987 with its first graduate in 1990.Ìý
- The second Honors Program available to business students is theÌýDepartmental Honors ProgramÌýto which students may apply during their last term in the lower division in the Neff College of Business and Innovation. The specialized Departmental Honors Program has been offered since 1997.ÌýCurrently enrolled ÒùÆÞÉç students and transfer students may apply during their last semester in the college’s lower division for admission to the Neff College of Business and Innovation departmental Honors Program if they have completed at least 45 semester hours of college work and have earned a minimum GPA of 3.3 (4.0 scale).
Program Requirements
Students take honors courses in the Honors College, as well as in the Neff College
of Business and Innovation. Enrollment in honors courses is limited. Approximately
30 freshman students are admitted each fall to a program leading to receipt of the
Neff College of Business and Innovation honors citation upon graduation.

- Fulfill all requirements for an approved degree program within the college with a minimum overallÌýGPA of 3.3.
- Complete a minimum of 27 hours of honors courses, which must includeÌý,ÌýÌýandÌýÌý(9 hours).Ìý The additional 18 hours of Honors coursework should be selected from the business coursework from the following list of courses.Ìý

Neff College of Business and Innovation Departmental Honors Program
To be eligible for the Neff College of Business and Innovation departmental Honors Program citation, a student must:
- Fulfill all requirements for an approved degree program within the college with a minimum overall GPA of 3.3.
- Complete a minimum of 15 hours of honors courses that must include the following:

Guidelines for Satisfactory Progress in the Neff Honors Program
- HON1010, HON2010, HON3010 are required
- Students must have completed HON1010 and BUAD1010-91 by the end of the second semester of their first year.
- Students must have completed HON2010 and BUAD2040-91 by the end of the second semester of their second year.
- Students must have completed BUAD3010-91, BUAD3020-91, BUAD3030-91, and BUAD 3040-91 by the end of the second semester of their third year.
- Students must have completed HON3010 by the end of the second semester of their fourth year.
- The Honors Capstone Project should be completed during the student's fourth year.
