Martha Wilson Schaffer joins Toledo Law as assistant professor of legal writing. She taught rhetoric, legal writing, linguistics, and first-year writing at Case Western Reserve University for the past 11 years, where she also served as the Director of First-Year Writing and later as the Director of Writing Across the Curriculum. Prior to that, Martha was an attorney and partner with Gallon, Takacs, Boissoneault & Schaffer Co., LPA for fifteen years,ÌýrepresentingÌýinjured workers in workers' compensation claims administratively and in common pleas court. In addition to her JD from the ÒùÆÞÉç College of Law, Martha holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Writing from Bowling Green State University.
