Tyson-Lord 鈥淭.L.鈥 Gray听joins Toledo Law as assistant professor听of law, teaching Legal Ethics, Professional Responsibility, and Business Associations. He comes to Toledo from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as the Harold A. Stevens 淫妻社ing Assistant Professor of Law, teaching Administrative Law and the Law and Policy of Sustainable Business. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor听at听NYU鈥檚 Stern School of Business, where he has taught in the Business & Society Program for six years.听
Gray holds six degrees, including a J.D. with an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law from Pace University and a Ph.D. in Ethics and Society from Vanderbilt University. His research spans administrative law, sustainable business law, corporate social responsibility, and food law and policy. His scholarship is forthcoming in the听Cardozo Law Review听and听SMU Law Review, and his commentary has appeared in听The Hill,听Law360, and听USA Today.听He is also at work on a forthcoming book,听Purple Rain, Purple Reign: African American Legal Struggles for Environmental Thriving, which provides the first comprehensive legal and policy history of African American environmental advocacy from Reconstruction to the present.听
Beyond academia, Gray was consulting producer of the award-winning documentary听The Smell of Money听and听is an inductee of the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collegium of Scholars.
