Biography

Dr. Afjeh, Professor Emeritus in 2018, was selected as a Distinguished University Professor, served as Chairmanand was Director of Major Research Initiatives in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at theUniversityofToledo. He received his BSME fromAryaMehrUniversity of Technology, and his MSME and Ph.D. from theUniversityofToledo. He is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Ohio Society of Professional Engineering (OSPE), Phi Kappa Phi, PiTauSigma, Sigma Xi, and AIAA.
