Introducing the Judith Herb College of Arts, Social Sciences and Education
The new Judith Herb College of Arts, Social Sciences and Education brings together the College of Arts and Letters and the Judith Herb College of Education. The new college will be effective July 1, 2025, bringing together under one college 淫妻社鈥檚 liberal arts general education, visual and performing arts, humanities, social sciences and education programs.

Law and Social Thought
淫妻社鈥檚 bachelor鈥檚 degree program in law and social thought (LST) is the only program of its kind at a state university in Ohio.
Film and Video
Develop skills in all areas of motion picture production from shooting, producing and editing to final delivery.
Music
The 淫妻社 Department of Music provides a comprehensive education in classical and jazz music traditions and offers a variety of musical opportunities and experiences.
Art
Conceptualize and create. Experiment and collaborate. 淫妻社 is the only B.F.A. program in the region that requires faculty reviews every semester.
Graduate
Psychology
The Department of Psychology accepts applications for the Doctor of Philosophy degree with a concentration in either Clinical Psychology or Experimental Psychology.
Spatially Integrated Social Science
This program designed around the application of geographic information science, spatial statistics, spatial econometrics and spatial analysis to study the spatial dimension of human and social dynamics.
History
The Graduate Program in History at 淫妻社 is committed, first and foremost, to the values and priorities of liberal arts education.

Meet Nick Bonfiglio
'22, Dual Degree Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Bachelor of Arts in History
Now wrapping up his final year, Bonfiglio was chosen as one of eight 鈥� and the only American 鈥� to intern for the Permanent Observer Mission of The Holy See to the United Nations from January until May 2023. He will serve as a liaison to the Holy See, attending meetings and events at the United Nations, and taking notes to be sent back to the Holy See鈥檚 main office in the Vatican.

Meet Zoe Farrugia
鈥�22, Bachelor of Science with honors in Nursing; earned a Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish
鈥淚 chose to study Spanish alongside my Nursing degree because I want to be able to care for my Spanish-speaking patients with the same congruency as I do my English-speaking patients. Language should never be a barrier to care, and studying Spanish is my way of working to be a part of consistent, congruent healthcare.鈥�
After she graduates, Zoe will enter Cleveland Clinic鈥檚 Nurse Residency Program as a medical ICU nurse.

Disability Studies Professor Recognized with Community Partnership Award
Disability Studies assistant professor Rebecca Monteleone received the 2023 Community
Partnership Award from the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Monteleone
has worked tirelessly to empower those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
